||Welcome to Yoga For All based in Surrey.
Yoga For All offers regular weekly classes in Woking, Pyrford, Westfield and Byfleet. Whether you have practiced yoga for many years or you are a complete beginner, all levels of ability, age and fitness are welcome. Want to give it a try before you invest in any equipment? Don't worry, just turn up in loose, comfortable clothing and I will supply the necessary. Yoga is non-competitive; everyone works to his or her own level, depending on how you are feeling on the day. There is no need to perform or achieve, yoga is about allowing you to 'let go' and re-discover the happiness of just 'being'. The classes provide a wonderful respite from the daily pressures of modern life. The teacher, Glenn Johnson, studied for two and a half years with the "Chekira Wholistic Trust" and is fully trained and insured to teach all aspects of Comprehensive Yoga. He is also a registered yoga teacher affiliated to Yoga Alliance UK at the 500 hour level. Not being affiliated to any particular 'school' of yoga allows a Chekira- trained teacher the freedom to offer yoga which is suitable for the needs of each and every individual and to adapt the classes accordingly. This style is a moderate intensity practice and the teacher pays great attention to each persons individual needs and physical limitations, so props are used to assist in the postures. Beginners use blocks, yoga ties, belts, pillows, and the wall. Glenn encourages his students to be aware of their own needs and to work appropriately. Please explore the site for more details or feel free to contact Glenn directly if you have any specific questions. Private classes can also be arranged for individual or corporate clients.
